Sunday 21st September – Tahunanui Beach
Race four in the Winter Series sees us hosting our friends at our favourite local beach. This is a great chance to enjoy some local racing in a friendly but competitive atmosphere. There is racing for V1, OC1, OC2 and OC6 in men’s, women’s and mixed categories.
If you want to paddle, just respond to the invitation on Teamer. Teams will be formed closer to the event but if you want to paddle with specific members for any reason, please let Tony know on maitahi.race@gmail.com
Although we are spared the effort of de-rigging and loading waka, we need volunteers to paddle our fleet to the beach as well as helping with other jobs involved in hosting the race. If you can spare some time to put up gazebos, help with marshalling or anything else please let Tony Davies know either on maitahi.race@gmail.com or on 021 1696987 .
